Websites for Events

Join us for an overview of what COD is and how it was used to build the fourth annual DrupalCamp Chicago website for 2011. COD is the Conference Organizing Distribution maintained by Growing Venture Solutions and is built on Drupal. There is an effort to get COD ported over to Drupal 7. Beginners will get to see how the camp site was built on COD where as more experienced Drupalers will get an overview of how certain parts of COD were modified to our liking. We will also discuss the challenges we faced when building the mobile variation of the site.

The majority of this session will be an open Q&A with the guys that built the majority of this years camp site. Got a feature that you like and what to know how we built it or if it was already a part of COD? let us know in the comments and we will be more than happy to discuss it.
